Marmaris Turkey

Marmaris is a port city and a tourist resort on the Mediterranean coast, located in Mugla Province, southwest Turkey, along the shoreline in the Turkish Riviera.
Main source of income is tourism Marmaris. It has a great location between two intersecting mountain ranges from the sea, and after a construction boom in the 1980s, little is left of the fishing village that Marmaris was not until the late 20th century. In 2010 the city's population was 30,957, and peaks at approximately 300,000 to 400,000 people during the tourism season.
It is also a center for sailing and diving, has two large and several smaller marinas. It is a popular wintering location for hundreds of cruise ships, which are also served by the nearby Dalaman airport.

Marmaris has a warm Mediterranean climate characterized by a hot and humid summer and cool, rainy winter.
Summers are hot and humid, and temperatures are very high during the heatwave in July and August. October is still warm and bright, and many tourists prefer to visit in early autumn, especially in September, because the temperatures are not so hot.
